Switching currents above 10A often involves the use of a contactor or specialist
relay with large contact area. Weidmuller’s RS31 relay has stood the test of time
with over 20 years of production and an impressive installed base across many
industries.

Rated to carry up to 16A continuously the RS31 offers unparalleled switching
capacity of 16A AC in a changeover contact arrangement.

The DIN rail mounted RS31 comes equipped with silver cadmium oxide
contacts of massive proportion. The black relay case is provided with a
dovetailed inspection port to give access to the contacts for inspection.
With an impulse withstand voltage rated to 6KV the RS31 is suitable for
use in critical industrial applications requiring high input output isolation.

Back EMF suppression and LED status indication are provided to
give confidence in reliability and to provide visual indication during
commissioning. Coil voltages of 24VDC and 240VAC are stocked.
